Not sure what to expect on your first visit to Minars Orthodontics? Along with a tour of the office, you will receive a free initial consultation. During this time, Dr. Minars will be happy to address any of your orthodontic questions or concerns.
Diagnostic records consist of:
* An x-ray of the patient’s head (cephalogram)
* An x-ray of the patient’s jaws and teeth (panorex)
* Facial photographs and intraoral photographs
* Impressions of the teeth.
These orthodontic records are used to document the diagnosis and plan the orthodontic treatment needed for each patient
This is the orthodontic retainer that is placed on the inside of your lower front teeth. It’s referred to as a “bonding lingual retaining wire”. As long as the wire is correctly attached to your teeth, it will hold them reasonably straight.

In some cases, children as young as two or three years of age may need limited interceptive orthodontic treatment.
